Your 'day to day':
As Electronic Technical Specialist you will be part of our Manufacturing Department and you will be reporting to the Supervisor Process Support.
The position will be based in Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. (Bologna).
In your role, you will support Asset Engineer to manage the performance of appropriate assets.
Be the technical reference for the development and innovation of improvement initiatives aiming at improving the efficiency, the reliability and the maintenance of the equipment.
Support technical personnel by coaching during maintenance execution, complex format change and new product/process development in order to build ownership and team autonomy
Your Responsibilities:
- Support Asset Engineer to manage the performance of appropriate assets, in terms of plant's smooth operation and reliability, to achieve the required output to support factory operational requirements, namely ensuring data monitoring and analysis; ensuring maintenance activities incl.
spare parts are properly planned and documented within the appropriate systems.
- Support training department by coaching technical personnel on the job, in order to develop the adequate technical expertise for the manufacturing of PMI products.
Develop/review in collaboration with technical department the training material for the internal technical trainings (PT/MT/ET)
- Support Asset Engineer during monitoring and analysis of consumption of spare parts, costs, overhead costs in order to be in line with budget proposals.
Provide suggestion on identify gaps and constraints in the organization and implement appropriate countermeasures accordingly to minimize losses.
- Support and coach the technical personnel during machinery start-up, complex format changes, first industrial productions of new product/process, in compliance with established quality and safety standards.
Provide support by defining format change settings and methodologies in order to reduce machine downtime and waste, and to increase quality and efficiency level.
- Support Asset Engineer, by collecting suggestions, by monitoring and analyzing local usage & risk profile of spare parts, for the improvement of the maintenance strategy.
Proactively support the analysis of the root causes of quality, process and reliability-related problems.
- Support development and innovation activities related to the improvement of machine efficiency, reliability and maintainability.
Ensure their implementation in agreement with the established maintenance strategy
- Contribute to full deployment of IPC Pilot Projects in respect of safety&sustainability standards, being owner of testing and deployment Work Packages:
- plan, practically execute and follow-up testing activities agenda;
- coordinate internal and external resources;
- ensure the assigned Work Package successful delivery.
- Ensure qualification and validation of implemented solutions in compliance with applicable regulations (i.e.
Installation Qualification (IQ); Operational Qualification (OQ); Performance Qualification (PQ); Computerized System Validation (CSV)).
- Support as Subject Matter Expert (SME) projects in the domain of machine sensorization, machine integration, machine diagnostic, track & trace.
- Collect and provide first level of data analysis to identify anomalies and to set the optimal hardware and software system configuration.
- In case of unplanned issues, autonomously seek and identify and implement the proper countermeasure to solve them.
Who we're looking for:
- Technical School (Secondary Technical School or Technical University)
- Proven ability to handle work packages belonging to complex technical projects, multi-projects;
- Excellent knowledge in: process technologies; control systems, equipment engineering, vision systems; statistics and Statistical Process Control
- Knowledge about IoT and digital solutions and system
- Overall Experience: +2 year experience in industrial environment
- knowledge in automation control systems.
