YOUR TEAM You would be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where experts in engineering, robotics and medicine collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out common research.
The Rehab Technologies Lab (https://rehab.iit.it/it/) is coordinated by Matteo Laffranchi, who has extensive experience in the development of innovative high-tech robotic solutions for patients with physical impairment.
Responsibilities Electromechanical assembly and integration of robotic devices and setups, with tests to verify functionality and reliability.
Soldering/cabling/manual operations on electrical macro and micro components.
Use/Setting/Maintenance of 3D printers.
Work together with the other technicians and members of the team.
Maintenance of the Rehab workshop good status.
Purchasing operations, according to IIT procedure, for the needed workshop tools.
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU SHINE A technical Diploma with electrical background.
Documented experience in electromechanical assembly operations (mechanism assembly and cabling of complex mechatronic devices).
Practical electronics skills (soldering, cabling, building prototypes).
Good knowledge of the English language.
Familiarity with the main IT software packages, including Word and Excel.
A cooperative approach with the stakeholders.
Accuracy and good analytical skills.
Good interpersonal and communications skills and willingness to integrate in an international research team.
