Schematic & Apparatus Engineer Purpose of the Job
He/she designs train electrical architecture, cubical layout and wiring routing.
He/she specifies electrical apparatus to be used on projects according to the Preferred Parts List and project requirements.
He/she produces pure principle scheme (PPS), solution principle schemes (SPS), the cabling principle schemes (CPS), and project apparatus specification.

Network & Links
He/she is in permanent link with the Train Control Engineer (TCE), the Train System Engineer (TSE), fitting engineers, and all Sub-System Engineers (SSE) of the project.
He/she is also in direct link with Verification & Test Engineer.
Missions Performance Measurement/KPI's Quality of delivery (including sub-contractor delivery): 1st time quality rate > 90% (quality rate = modification validated OK / number of modifications applied)Respect of delivery planning (including sub-contractor delivery): 100% on-time deliveryLevel of application of standard PPL: 100% of PPLContinuous improvement or Return on Experience (RoE) management from previous projects: 0 missing RoE Responsibilities
Accountable for delivering the right product at the right moment to the project, the product consisting of the complete electrical case or a set of electrical deliverables for each baseline made of:
Electrical Apparatus and components specificationConnector coding specificationCubical specificationCabling principle schemes (CPS)Solution Principle schemes (SPS)Pure Principle Schemes (PPS)Wiring listDevice listHarness caseElectrical architecture at train level
Managing the configuration of deliverables.
Responsible for managing the S&A Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) of activities, and sub-contracting management (inputs / outputs management).
Job Specifications
Knowledge & Experience:
A Level + 2 or 3 years or Graduate from an Engineering School
Electrical and/or electrotechnical engineering knowledge
Train system knowledge basics
Electrical CAD experience (at least 3 years)
Fluent English is favorable.
