We are looking for forward-thinking engineers who want to be challenged and are interested in solving customers' most pressing technical needs through electrical, mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, and systems engineering.The AC Power Global Large UPS department design large power Uninterruptible Power Supply from a mechanical and electrical standpoint, executes engineering tests, verify that the product meets the design requirements, executes value engineering analysis to reduce the cost of the product, support field engineer for special applications in field and supports the service for field issues.We are now looking for an Electrical Product Engineer to join our team in Castel Guelfo di Bologna, Italy .This position is in charge to:Support the products during their life cycle, transfer the lesson learned collected in field to the engineering team, work in conjunction with the other teams to develop test cases to verify the products features.Work with Manufacturing Engineer to analyze the product cost.Evaluate alternative components and solutions that eventually can be adopted during the life of the products.Analyze specific applications providing active support and service.What kind of work will you be doing?Work with the Service team Coordinate the activities and provide the necessary documentation to start the Change order processes.Cooperate with other engineering functions during the definition of the product specification.Support the testing team for the definition of the test plan and review the test results.Produce technical documentation in line with the process requirements such as drawings, component specification.What will make you successful?Excellent planning and communication skills are required.Good knowledge on electrical power components.Good knowledge of the PLM (Product Life Cycle management) and processes.Good team working attitude and communication.Customer oriented and availability to travel.Good English language knowledge.University degree or technical diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.Experience in equivalent areas (e.G., UPS, Power converter or lowvoltage electrical distribution) is a plus.1-5 years of experience.Have we sparked your interest?
