The person should be able to develop and carry out autonomously his activities with supervision from coordinator.Able to manage for new products, utilities management, machines Installation, optimization and improvement with focus on promotion and activation of smart engineering solutions.Final goal is to enhance Roma Plant/Advanced Workshop processes effectiveness, efficiency and product leveraging on systematic application of data driven methodologies/risk assessments in order to ensure full compliance with Regulations, Customers and Company requirements with the ultimate goal of achieving superior quality all across the value chain.Main ResponsibilityRoadmap ImplementationDesign and maintain of the software as well as the hardware architecture for industrial machines in the field of tire manufacturing.Knowledge of control algorithms for PLC based systems.HMI design and implementation.Electrical diagrams design and implementation.Instrumentation and sensor interface.The candidate should have a good understanding of basic machine controls which include induction motor control using AC Drives.Basic of communication networks.Able to manage for new products, utilities management, machines Installation, machines maintenance, optimization and improvement with focus on promotion and activation of smart engineering solutions.
Keep under control key sparts and relevant inventory.Engineering support to new processTo join cross functional teams for machines capability at the early product design phase.Develop measurement technologies, control strategies, information systems, and Engineering methods that achieve ambitious target.Develop and implement inspection tools/methods to evaluate machines status.Problem solving based on data analysis; provide guidance to determine root cause and recommend potential solutions.Interface with internal and external groups to ensure that proper definition of expectations and that appropriate assurance techniques.Coach and ensure engineering & maintenance mindset & awareness is built in the Team.Risk reduction, Continuous ImprovementPerform root cause analysis of maintenance issues using advanced problem solving tools (like Lean Six Sigma, beta risk, Skills evaluation, etc).Recommend and implement simple cost-effective permanent corrective actions.
Promote horizontal extension.Reinforce maintenance systems to identify and reduce risks of machine breakdown and assure compliance to all requirements.Timely issuing and/or updating relevant Operative Procedure.Periodical reporting on activities status to management.EducationDegree in Electrical, Controls or Mechatronic Engineering.LanguagesFluent English is required - Other EU language is a plus.Core competency skillsUnderstanding of Hydraulics/Pneumatics/ Electrical schematics as well as AC Drives and Motion Controls.
Software Design and Development.
Understanding of various communication protocols (Profibus, Ethernet IP, etc.
