Role Details: The candidate will be responsible to coordinate the electrical, automation and instrumentation part for external packages and internal designed equipment/plants to be installed in the Direct Reduction Plant and the sister's companies/product lines that follow the specific discipline inside Danieli Group.
The design of this part can be performed according to the required European or non-European standards and regulations.
The main activities of the candidate can be summarized in: Develop the electrical part of the technical specification for external packages and/or subcontract external technical offices; Support the commercial, project management and site team during the sale phase and/or project execution; Participate in client meetings during the bidding phase and/or execution of the project in relation to his knowledge and competence; Presence on site for specific matters related to the instrument and electrical discipline.
The work environment is intrinsically international due to foreign colleagues and international suppliers or clients.
Location: Buttrio (HQ) Responsabilità He/She will be responsible for the electrical and instrument part for one or more projects (related to the complexity of the same) in terms of delivery in time and quality of the related documentation internally to the company and its subsidiaries.
For the external package (Centrifugal compressors, Screw compressors, Steam Reformer, CO2 absorber plant, etc.
), he/she will work in coordination and support with the related Project Engineering.
Requisiti tecnici Electrical / Electronic Engineering Bachelor's or Master's Degree; Previous experience (5 years) in a similar activity – project management, developing technical specifications, supplier's follow-up, projects follow-up; Experience in Oil & Gas / Chemical or Steel plants industry is mandatory; Knowledge of Siemens PLC and DCS based automation systems; Knowledge of industrial plants power distribution systems; Knowledge of industrial plants technological and auxiliary electrical systems/panels e.g.
motor starters, converters (medium and low voltage), lighting, HVAC, Fire fighting etc.
; Knowledge of explosive atmospheres standards (ATEX, NEC); Knowledge of functional and process safety concepts and related implications on electrical, automation and instrumentation discipline; Basic knowledge of AutoCAD; Professional knowledge of the Office package; Knowledge of design software e.g.
EPLAN considered as a plus; Good knowledge of the English language.
Soft Skills Proactivity, methodicalness, accuracy in approaching the problem and result orientation; Aptitude for technical and functional study; Good interpersonal skills and aptitude for teamwork, particularly in a multi-cultural environment.
Business Unit DECM is one of the more than 20 Product lines of Danieli with the focus of developing, selling, manufacturing and starting-up Direct Reduction Plants using the internally developed technology of Energiron.
The Direct Reduction Plants are nowadays recognized as the industrial solution to decarbonize the Iron and Steel Making Industry, particularly the Energiron process is already using a high percentage of H2 and is ready to use Green Hydrogen as soon as available.
The plants are process plants designed to work 24 hours per day and 330 days per year, and the related design requires a multidisciplinary approach including the part of instrumentation/electrical and automation.
In the last years, the market for these plants in Europe and beyond has increased exponentially.
