Shape a future with purpose at Arup in Milan.Arup's purpose, shared values and collaborative approach has set us apart for over 75 years, guiding how we shape a better world.The OpportunityThe building services team in Italy has been growing consistently in the last 3 years, working on iconic buildings in Italy and abroad on a diverse range of projects including Stadia, Luxury Hotels, Offices, Commercial, Healthcare, Science and Industry and Educational projects.Arup Italia is seeking an Electrical Engineer or Technician with 0 to 5 years' experience to join our growing Building Services Engineering team in Milan (MEP Team).The role offers excellent prospects for career development and the opportunity to be involved in different and challenging range of design projects across all sectors including commercial, industrial, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, data centers, sport complexes, offices and retails.As an Electrical Engineer or Technician at Arup, you will:Manage electrical design, calculation, specification and technical report.Calculate energy balances and power distribution systems.Design Renewable energy systems.Deal with clients and expert planners/architects.Cooperate closely with our international offices.Concept and plan development in the area of medium and low voltage.Is this role right for you?Candidates for the Milan office need to have experience with the Italian codes, planning phases and speak fluent Italian and good English.You'll also need:A successfully completed degree/diploma in electrical engineering.0 to 5 years of professional experience into the design of electrical installations.Ability for interdisciplinary teamwork as well as multidisciplinary thinking.Commitment, creativity, flexibility and a keen attitude towards communication.Independent and responsible way of working as well as entrepreneurial thinking.Development of MV and LV electrical Systems.Knowledge of Extra Low Voltage design, CAD and Building Information Modelling is appreciated.Good English skills, both written and spoken.Why Arup?At Arup, we believe in rewarding our members for their contributions to our shared success.
