Italy Solutions is searching for a SENIOR ELECTRICAL Engineer, reporting directly to the Engineering Head to join our team based in Italy, Rome Office.
About the Job The role and your responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Technical responsibility of Electrical Design Performing Design Calculations Perform power system studies (short circuit, load flow, motor starting, arc flash, harmonic analysis) using ETAP or equivalent software Coordination with other disciplines/entities Developing study reports Reviewing vendor documents Main Accountabilities: Electrical Design experience Design for HV, MV and LV power systems Design for cable tray/earthing/lighting systems Design and knowledge of ESP Surface Equipment like VDS/Output Transformers/MVD/HV, MV or LV Switchboards/UPS system, etc.
Communication/coordination with PE/ PMs Meeting quality and safety objectives of the project Ensures timely internal and external reporting on engineering Gathering design inputs based on field surveys before proceeding with engineering Expected to do business trips to attend technical meetings with Clients or Suppliers, visit Vendor workshops Occasionally expected to follow up engineering activities related to the Electrical discipline directly on our sites, supporting erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities We offer you not only a job, but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break down boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity, and pioneer spirit which drive our people.
About You We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements: Experience: 10+ years of experience in Electrical design and engineering of oil gas / large industrial projects Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred Main Skills: Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with the design team in the resolution of project related issues, in an international and multi-cultural environment High interest with respect to the current Energy transition challenges and Digital transformation process Self-motivated, results-oriented, and flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team environment What's next?
