Italy Solutions is searching for an Electrical Engineer Junior, reporting directly to the Industrial Plant Engineering Head to join our team based in Rome, Italy.
About the Job
The role and your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Preparation of project technical specifications in line with Project/Client requirements; Meeting Project quality and HSE objectives; Ensuring appropriate reporting on assigned engineering/requisitioning activities to the Lead Electrical Engineer/Team Leader; Interfacing with other discipline engineers; Preparation and/or checking of Single Line Diagrams, Area Classification drawings, Grounding System layouts, Panel/Cable schedules, Equipment layouts, Cable layouts, Lighting system layouts and Electrical installation details; Performing power system studies (short circuit, load flow, motor starting, arc flash, harmonic analysis) using ETAP or equivalent software; Performing calculations for main electrical equipment sizing, UPS sizing, Cables sizing, Lighting system, Grounding and Lightning system and Heat tracing system; Preparing Electrical Equipment Material Requisitions and Data sheets; Reviewing Vendor Bids and preparing Technical Bids Evaluation; Ensuring proper communication with Vendors and technical follow-up of the orders; Reviewing Vendor Drawings. Work is periodically reviewed by the Electrical Senior Specialist or Team Leader to verify the accomplishment of objectives. You will be progressively assigned with tasks with a higher level of complexity and interfaces. You will have the opportunity to do business trips to attend technical meetings with Clients or Suppliers, and visit Vendor workshops. Occasionally, you will also have the opportunity to follow up engineering activities related to the Electrical discipline directly on our sites, supporting erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.

About You

Experience: No experience required. Qualifications: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Main Skills: Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with the design team in the resolution of project-related issues, in an international and multi-cultural environment. High interest regarding the current Energy transition challenges and Digital transformation process. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team environment. What's Next?
