ELETRICAL ENGINEER Tasks · Analyze and understand Tender documentation;
· Take part in electrical system design review;
· Identify technical queries, deviations and alternatives to be submitted;
· Define andissue market request for quotation for items not estimated in house;
· Coordinatematerial quantities and weights (MTOs) estimation;
· Review Client technical documentation and requirements for onshore and offshore installations;
· Take part in definition of electrical engineering requirements;
· Prepare Project design criteria for electrical system;
· Define theconfiguration of the electrical system and the single line diagrams;
· Manage theelectrical load balance of the distribution network;
· Perform and review electrical system calculation and studies (e.G. power demand, load flow, short circuit, transient stability, motor starting) with ETAP, DIGSILENT tools;
· Perform and review grounding, lighting and lightning calculations;
· Prepare relay and metering schemes;
· Define thefunctional philosophies for the electrical SCADA system control and control system architecture;
· Prepare technical documentation (e.G. specifications, data sheets) for electrical equipment (MV, LV switchboard, transformers, distribution boards) and materials;
· Directly interface with Client's representative to review the technical documentation.
Requirements :
· Proven experience of at least 5 years in the same or similar role with International Main Contracting &
Engineering Companies.
· Detailed knowledge, with direct experience with this sector
· English speaking and writing proficiency
· Availability to travel abroad to offices and construction site
Contract type:
permanent, salary package commensurate with the level of experience
