Your responsibilities Aim of the position The Electrical Engineer is involved in the activities relevant to Engineering, Procurement, Inspections, Construction Assistance and Tests of electrical equipment for electrochemical plants under the supervision and coaching of the Electrical Engineering Department Coordinator.
Main responsibilities and Contents Preparation of project documentation: Electrical Drawings and Diagrams, Specifications, Data Sheets, Lists, Bills of Quantities; Preparation of requests for quotations for vendors; Technical evaluation of quotations for Electrical Equipment; Follow Up of Electrical Equipment ordered; Inspections on Electrical Equipment at vendors workshop; Support to Sales and Technical Service Department for materials cost estimation and consultancy on specific electrical issues; Cooperation with the internal technical departments: Process, Instrumentation, Piping; Availability for business travel worldwide to take part in technical meetings with clients, site activities, and plant surveys.
Your profile Skills, qualifications and abilities Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent culture; At least 3 years of specific experience in power distribution systems at engineering companies operating in the field of industrial plant design.
Experience in rectifier systems is a plus; Professional Skills: Electrical calculations, basic knowledge of electrical LV or MV switchboards, Motors, Transformers, Drivers, Cable sizing.
Basic knowledge of Hazardous Areas.
Basic knowledge of the most common electrical IEC standards; Good spoken and written knowledge of the English language; Knowledge of the main IT tools (MS Office); Basic knowledge of Autocad; Availability to travel worldwide for technical meetings, site activities, and plant surveys; Good will, proactivity, ability to both individual and teamwork; Open mind to continuous improvement and professional growth in plant design and electrical machinery engineering.
