Scope of work We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to support our oil and gas projects in Italy.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in line with project specifications and industry standards.
You will work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Responsibilities Design and analyze electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation for oil and gas facilities.
Prepare technical documentation, including electrical diagrams, specifications, and reports.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to optimize electrical designs.
Collaborate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on-site.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations throughout all phases of projects.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and performance.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements to drive continuous improvement in electrical engineering practices.
Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in electrical engineering within the oil and gas sector.
Strong knowledge of electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP) and relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capability to collaborate across disciplines.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian is highly desirable.
