Electrical Design Engineer I Responsibilities Learn the design, manufacturing, and testing requirements of power transformersUnderstand and interpret customer specifications and expectationsCreate prototype designs and manufacturing documents for cores and windingsPerform calculations and analysis to verify transformer design accuracySpend time training and collaborating on the manufacturing shop floorCreate material requisitions based on designs and customer specificationsTroubleshoot design challenges and oversee projects from concept to testingAddress questions from internal teams regarding electrical design for custom projectsBalance time effectively between design and project support tasksAssist in software development for design processesProduce detailed design reports and documentation as requiredElectrical Design Engineer I Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is requiredSolid understanding of electrical engineering, physics, and mathematical concepts is requiredStrong computer skills, including some CAD & a desire to learn programming is requiredAbility to work 100% on-site is requiredOn-call availability required (minimal, mostly remote resolutions)
