Lastly, you have a high degree of cross-cultural awareness.About the jobBased in Monza, Italy, you will become part of the Automation Development team, which is responsible for the development of advanced control systems and IoT solutions for all Alfa Laval core products.
As our new Control and Automation Engineer / Electrical Engineer, you will design and maintain our Automation Systems in an Agile environment throughout the whole product life cycle.The main tasks will be:Review the Customer automation inputs.Understand project specification and accordingly estimate the budget hours.Coordinate the planning of the design activities with partners and suppliers.Low voltage electrical design calculation.Develop logical solutions based on electrical-mechanical components.Contribute to standardizing and keep products updated in Product Data Management system.Test prototypes and support our service engineer in troubleshooting.Support the team in electrical claim investigation.Participate in quality review process.Cross site collaboration in our Device Competence Space.What you knowElectrical / Instrumentation Engineering degree will be a plusElectrical design tools like ePlan P8 (mandatory)Knowledge on relevant standards related to electrical design for machines and CE-marking.ATEX, hazardous area zone-1, zone-2 based electrical designExperience with electrical engineering drawingsCoordination of electrical protectionCable selection and sizingExperience to create dedicated interconnection wiring for customizations.Experience with project work and product development.Available for travels upon necessity (about 10% of time).Fluent written and spoken English.
