A day in the Life: As an EHS Specialist, you will develop, implement, and maintain programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and standards.
Your primary goal is to build and maintain a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment for employees.
Your role will be focused on: developing and coordinating training programs on safety roles and responsibilities, procedures, emergency response and other relevant topics, ensuring that employees are properly trained to perform their jobs safely and effectively maintaining accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities, including training records, inspection reports, incident investigations, and regulatory permits.
Ensure that records are organized and readily accessible for regulatory agencies and internal customers conducting regular inspections and audits of facilities and processes to ensure compliance with EHS standards and identify areas for improvement, preparing reports detailing findings and recommendations for corrective actions.
Supporting the team during organization of third parties periodic audits and the certification body team during the inspection analyzing legislation and periodical updates and evaluate their applicability and impact on activities ensuring compliance with permits requirements, data collection and communication to local authorities as required by current regulations continuously monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of EHS programs and initiatives, finding opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance EHS performances within the organization.
How will you get here?
Education Technical degree (Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science or related technical/scientific disciplines) Experience 2+ years' experience in the specific function, not necessarily in the pharmaceutical field Keys to Success: Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Knowledge of guidelines, regulations and international standards related to EHS Good knowledge of the English language Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes Good relational and organizational skills, proactivity and flexibility in working in a dynamic, multicultural and constantly evolving context, problem solving and ability to work in a team.
