**Position Overview**:
As an EHS Specialist you will be part of the People Team and will support the Global QMS, HSE & Sustainability Director in order to support the entire organization in the sustainability roadmap and environmental management system.
**What your tasks will be**:
- Develop and execute environment, health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines;
- Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of environment, health and safety;
- Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law;
- Conduct training and presentations for environment, health and safety matters and accident prevention;
- Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations;
- Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions;
- Investigate accidents or incidents to find out their causes and solve them;
- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures;
- Report on environment, health and safety awareness, issues, statistics, etc.

- Support in Sustainability Report Writing of the company;
- Monitoring of ESG indicators and compliance with environmental and social policies;
- Responsibility for identifying the company's environmental topics, guiding it through obligations, compliance, risks and opportunities;
- Studies and implements adjustments following the promulgation of new laws and regulations, resolves requirements and non-conformities, collects and processes data related to environmental monitoring (discharges, waste, emissions, energy resources, etc.
).
**What we are looking for**:
- Proven experience as EHS Specialist for at least 2 years;
- University degree in EHS management (or a relevant field), Environmental Engineering/Materials Engineering or other equivalent discipline is required (Master's degree in EHS Management is preferred);
- Deep understanding of legal environment, health and safety guidelines;
- Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies;
- Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment;
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills;
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities;
- Valid qualification in occupational health and safety (UNI 11720:2018 certification or A.S.P.P.
certification are preferred);
- Knowledge of environmental protection regulations and best practices;
- Knowledge of materials science, particularly plastics/thermoplastics, is appreciated;
- Fluency in English.
