Position Summary In the role of ASPP (Addetto al Servizio di Prevenzione e Protezione), you will support the RSPP in ensuring the safety and health of workers by identifying all necessary interventions for the prevention/protection against accidents and monitoring their application.
The ASPP collaborates with the RSPP to identify and evaluate injury risks: analyzing the production systems in use (machinery, toxic substances, equipment, etc.)
and the structural conditions of the work environment (layout and placement of systems and work positions, exposure to hazardous substances or preparations, noise, load handling, etc.).
Essential Responsibilities Interface with personnel and department heads to collaborate with the RSPP in identifying workplace safety issues.
Deliver training courses for safety (General Training) and collaborate with designated trainers for specific training when necessary.
Assist the RSSP in fulfilling legal requirements related to ESH and manage authorization practices, informative and training materials related to ESH.
Collaborate with the RSPP in the preparation of the Risk Assessment document.
When necessary, assist in communication with external stakeholders (e.g., SPRESAL, ARPA).
Coordinate communication with contractors and manage entry authorizations.
Participate in ESH audits.
Promote continuous improvement in Occupational Safety and Environment.
Plan and manage waste disposal.
Assist in defining, implementing, and maintaining the Environmental Management System.
Manage Operational Safety Procedures and periodic Safety Audits.
Monitor the status of temporary waste storage.
Manage the recording of all environmental communications.
Conduct environmental assessments of external suppliers.
Inform, train, and update company personnel on environmental and safety issues.
Ensure safety and environmental protection, particularly by monitoring compliance with regulations (unsafe actions), use of PPE, safe operation of machinery, hazardous situations (unsafe conditions), and assist in emergency management (e.g., accidents, evacuations, machine shutdowns, environmental emergencies).
Position Requirements Degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in the role in industrial contexts.
Professional use of Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to rapid changes or ongoing demands.
Teamwork.
Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication.
Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and proactivity.
