Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position: The Education & Culture Support Specialist will assist the Culture and Education functions in various activities leading up to the Milano Cortina 2026 Games.
This role involves supervising the organizational secretariat of the Education Programme Gen26 and Cultural Olympiad, maintaining communication with the youth and cultural communities, and managing information flow.
The position also includes coordinating Milano Cortina 2026's presence in cultural contexts and events, with a focus on inclusivity for people with disabilities and young audiences.
Key Responsibilities: Tutor and support curricular interns.
Manage account activities with external parties.
Handle secretariat tasks and preliminary analysis for sub-brand labels Gen26 and Cultural Olympiad.
Oversee organizational and logistical management of events and project tours, including roadmap planning, transfer of promotional materials, and coordination of on-site contacts.
Coordinate operational needs and relationships during events.
Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, demonstrating empathy, energy, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements: Essential Qualifications: Strong organizational skills for planning, coordinating, and managing concurrent activities.
Interest and knowledge in youth, sport, artistic, and cultural fields, both nationally and internationally.
Familiarity with website updating programs, editorial content management, Office and Microsoft suite, and basic budgeting principles.
Ability to work autonomously, move independently, and solve problems efficiently.
Previous experience in festivals or cultural events.
Excellent command of Italian (both written and spoken) and good knowledge of English.
University degree or technical training in humanities, arts, cultural heritage, communication, event management, live entertainment, edutainment, economics of the arts, educational sciences, or motor sciences.
Desirable Skills: Proficiency in design and graphic programs.
Independent yet proactive with a strong problem-solving attitude.
Excellent oratory skills and good manners.
Experience with cultural initiatives for people with disabilities and young audiences.
Appreciation for outdoor cultural and sport activities.
Discreet, formal, determined, self-confident, organized, empathetic, and energetic.
Ability to present content and speak in public.
Manual skills for handling promotional and logistical materials.
Previous experience (including internships and volunteering) in field events, especially those involving youth engagement, free time, sport, music, tours, and festivals.
