The Role The Ecosystem Specialist is responsible and accountable for: Effective management and coordination of EIT Digital's participation in assigned EIT Digital's activities. Efficient and effective support to the regional team, with focus on Italy, to facilitate the administrative and operational processes around ecosystem partners, and EIT Digital innovation and education activities and events. Operational handling of administrative tasks pertinent to the EIT Digital branch in Italy The Ecosystem Specialist reports to the Regional Director. Main Responsibilities Project management, implementation and reporting of regional, national and/or EU-funded projects, , such as EDIH DIPS and MIA Lombardia. Support grant acquisition, activities and proposal preparation at regional, national, and European level. Provide administrative support for ecosystem operations, partner interaction, also in collaboration with peers in the EIT Digital organisation. Develop, coordinate and maintain CRM data. Deliver efficient and effective operational support management of purchase orders within the prescribed procedures. Undertake documentation, accounting, control and reporting of activities, together with associated cost and performance reporting. Be accountable for all logistics, supplier management, security measures and access procedures for the EIT Digital offices in Italy. Providing direct operational and administrative support to the CEO and the Regional Director South as required. Qualifications and Experience Experience in managing and reporting regional, national and/or EU-funded projects. Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multi-stakeholder teams. BSc/BA in business administration or academic background in STEM, MSc/MA is an asset. 5 years of relevant experience. Sound understanding of administrative processes. Experience in online and in-person events planning, organisation and execution, marketing experience is a plus. Experience working in fast paced environment and/or in an international organisation is an advantage. The candidate is to be proactive, service-oriented, capable of multi-tasking, and motivated to drive continuous improvement based on sound analysis. Good communication and outstanding organisational skills, including logistics. Proficient in Microsoft 365 Applications and Services tools and as well as common virtual presence tools and technologies. Experience in using HubSpot or similar, is desirable. Languages Fluent in English and Italian with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Place of employment EIT Digital office in Trento.
