E&I Field Project Specialist Leader (FPSL) – Job Offer Purpose of the Role: Collaborates with the E&I Engineering team.
Responsibilities: Supports the PSL E&I regarding installation and construction issues, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, applicable regulations, project timelines, and engineering progress.
Monitors the E&I Engineering product to enforce quality requirements and document details useful for construction and services, adhering to installation and construction standards.
Drafts Technical Queries (TQ), procedures, and installation philosophies to apply cost-effective alternative installation solutions.
Participates in 3D model reviews as the Site E&I Referent, focusing on E&I interfaces and installations.
Defines minimum technical characteristics and peculiarities of materials for the project and collaborates in drafting the "E&I Design Basis" document.
Supports E&I Field Engineering activities, especially during the construction phase.
Reviews E&I Suppliers documentation concerning installation and interfaces.
Ensures completeness and adequacy of Material Take Offs (MTOs) and collaborates with the Purchasing Service as necessary.
Provides continuous updates to the Operations Manager on project progress and critical issues.
Acts as the E&I interface for Data Entry and Purchasing services, capturing project changes and material gaps.
Supports E&I Construction and subcontracting during the installation phase.
Qualifications and Skills: Degree in Engineering relevant to the discipline or Technical Diploma.
At least 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector, preferably Offshore, in Construction and Multidisciplinary Engineering on EPC projects.
In-depth knowledge of ATEX regulations and main protection methods.
Familiarity with international standards in the Oil & Gas sector.
Knowledge of indoor and outdoor E&I plant solutions in hazardous areas and necessary construction materials.
Familiarity with HILTI device support solutions and secondary cable routes.
Understanding of interrelationships between various design disciplines.

Accustomed to reading and writing technical specifications in English.

Familiarity with main applications of the discipline (e.g., DIALUX, TRACECALC).
