**About the Role**
As an Area Sales Manager for the E-Commerce market, your main goal will be the execution of the E-commerce Division business development strategy in line with the defined targets.
You will focus on financial gain by hunting new business development opportunities with prospective clients.
Your detailed responsibilities will be:
- Develop a growth strategy focused on customer satisfaction;
- Conduct research to identify new markets and potential customers' needs;
- Methodic research of new prospective clients;
- Arrange business meetings with prospective customers;
- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives;
- Prepare sales proposals and sales contracts ensuring adherence to rules and guidelines;
- Keep records of sales, revenue and payments;
- Collect and trackcompetitive intelligence;
- Provide feedback and after-sales support;
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
This position will be based in Bologna, Italy.
**What You Need to Be Successful**
- At least 4/5 years of proven working experience as sales executive or a similar role within a packaging or intra-logistics companies;
- At least 2-year experience in the E-commerce machine market will be considered a fundamental plus;
- Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions with the adoption of up-selling and cross-selling approaches;
- Intra-logistics market knowledge;
- Communication and negotiation skills and ability to build solid business relationships;
- Fluency in English is mandatory;
- Willing to travel up to 40/50% of working time;
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g.
Salesforce).
