Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Operations Consultant (Fashion Retail) Location:Multiple offices across Italy - Hybrid Duration: 12 month contract About Us: We develop cutting-edge solutions that enable us to partner with clients across various industries, such as Manufacturing, Food Beverage, Pharma, Automotive, Fashion Luxury, Supplies, and both Large-scale and Retail sectors.
The Position: We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Operations Consultant with a focus on the Fashion Retail sector for our Var Prime competence center, which is dedicated to advancing Digital Transformation projects using Microsoft technology.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough analysis and gather customer requirements in the operational domain.
Draft specifications and create functional analysis documents.
Configure and set up the Dynamics 365 Business Central system according to client needs.
Ensure development quality through rigorous testing and validation.
Manage integration with other client business systems and applications.
Provide training and support to end users for effective system utilization.
Perform maintenance activities for existing clients to ensure ongoing system performance.
Requirements: 2-3 years of experience as an Application/Functional Consultant in software implementation projects for the fashion and retail sector, particularly in medium to large companies.
Functional knowledge of processes typical to the fashion retail industry, including product design and development, coding of item lists and processing cycles, sales and forecasts, purchasing planning and management, production planning and management, subcontracting, distribution, logistics, and retail.
Degree in Management Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field relevant to the specialization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in using advanced project management tools.
Good command of English.
Proactive attitude, strong teamwork capabilities, and a problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV.
Familiarity with Power Platform and Power BI suites.
