JOB SUMMARY
The role of a Tory Burch Planner is responsible for the budgeting, range building and product trading for the EU business.
Partnering with all key stakeholders (Buying, Retail, VM, ECOM and Store Teams), they will drive the planning strategy in order to achieve Sales $, GM$ and stock targets.
Trading
- _ Weekly and monthly Omni-channel trade reporting_
- _ Weekly sales & stock analysis (Sell-thru, best & slow movers' availability, opportunities & risks to forward forecasts)_
- _ Partnering with teams to determine how to drive performance and future growth, providing support through analysis and _recommendations._ Being pro-active in action._
- _ Manage and lead the ECOM returns analysis, and feedback to relevant teams / in team meetings._
- _ Regular store visits to gain collection and customer understanding._
- _ Complete EOM pack with recap of trading performance for previous month._
Planning
- _ Planning of budgets by category/ location based on the overall business (in two currencies) and financial growth of the region.
Including monthly phasing, weeks/monthly cover, margin, terminal stock._
- _ Monthly forecast review by category / location - providing insight of trend to anticipate future opportunities / risks to wider business._
- _ Forward stock projections to provide visibility of, transfers between business units, stock flow in / out of DCs and quarterly EOP stock vs targets._
- _ Monthly review of category Core/Carryover line cards - taking appropriate action where necessary to protect NOOS objective._
- _ Own and manage weekly seasonal RIF (WSSI), giving forward view of seasonal end stock vs targets and projected markdown stock view to influence regional FP vs. MD sales plan_

Range
- _ Partnering with Buying to hindsight a season and create the premarket buying strategy to ensure we are supporting GM%, FP vs MD Sales and Inventory Turns_
- _ Partner with buying to manage the lifecycle of the product and align with allocation team to manage range distribution and product exit strategy_
- _ Work with planning manager to set strategy and targets for upcoming seasons - setting category OTB, option counts & depth of buy/productivity to share to Buyers._
- _ Update and maintain Core Range Plan - recommending lines that should be discontinued based and where chase reorders are needed_
- _ Roll up seasonal buys, ensuring sales, GM & OTB targets are met and present financials in sign off meetings._
- _ Experience of 5+ years in Planning_
- _ Strong numerical and analytical skills_
- _ Must have advanced Excel skills_
- _ Experience in working in multiple currencies (solid understanding of impact on business with changing FX rates)_
- Strong and effective presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively
- _ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment_
