The role of the Driver/Aide provides transportation services for the Verona Shelter participants to school, appointments, home visits, etc.Hourly Rate: $15.00Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Implement and maintain the program's philosophy, principles and procedures in all facets of performance.Implement treatment plan objective as indicated and/or as directed.Complete timely and accurate documentation.Communicate, collaborate, and meet with staff, families, external agencies and/or others as necessary to support services to clients and the agency's mission.Transport clients to/from school, meetings, home visits, community activities, etc.Maintain cleanliness, maintenance schedule, operation, recording of mileage, and charges.Transport supplies and materials as needed.Assist with the supervision of client activities as needed.Participate in all assigned meetings, supervision and trainings.RequirementsHigh school diploma or a GED along with 2+ years of relevant experience.Excellent driving skillsExperience operating a motor vehicle as part of routine job duties preferred.Must possess valid Driver's License.Schedule may require working evenings and weekends as needed.Flexible schedule, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills.Proficient with computer programs.Support the organization's mission along with sensitivity of cultural and workplace harmony.Working Conditions:This position is based in Verona and provides transportation responsibilities within Allegheny and surrounding counties.Familylinks takes pride in its status as an Equal Opportunity Employer.
