As DIY Sales Representative, you will join our sales team and you will be responsible for ensuring a memorable service experience to your customers and achieving the goals set within your channel. You will also have the opportunity to propose dedicated action plans for developing the DIY channel and fueling partners' needs by guiding and recommending the most suitable sales offer. Reporting to the DIY Channel Manager you will be the only one sales representative covering the DIY sales channel on the field.
Your Main Activities Consistently deliver against set goals and targets defined by the Management
Analyze competitor strategies and suggest action plans to further develop market share within the DIY channel
Develop strong and sustainable customer relationships with key customers
Visit regularly all DIY stores (all around Italy) to deliver sales and product training
Promote and coordinate local marketing activities sponsored by VELUX or partners
Deliver an exceptional service experience by keeping reference files, sales promotions and display corners promptly updated
Address inquiries related VELUX products and support customers on quotations
Qualification It is natural for you to develop as well as maintain relationships and you have strong communication and collaboration skills. You have a positive attitude, you are proactive and self-motivated. Besides that, you have a service-oriented approach, so you are driven by delivering the best customer experience to sustain and develop sales.
In Addition, we expect that you have :
Technical / economic diploma or degree
At least 3 years' experience in the DIY environment
Determination, ability to work towards objectives and a strong propensity for self-organization
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
IT skills : Office-Excel and CRM package
Excellent knowledge of the English language
Willingness to travel across all Italian regions, at least 80% of the working time
