Job Title: Senior Sales Leader for Italy
Description: We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive business growth and lead our commercial organization in Italy. This is an exciting opportunity to join Brown-Forman, a global spirits company with a rich history of innovation and excellence.
About the Role: This leadership role will be integral to our B-F Italy Leadership Team, driving a unified purpose across the commercial organization. As a team member, you will be a steward of our organization culture, inspiring and motivating our teams and beyond in partnership with HR.
You will lead a talented group of Key Accounts, Field Sales, and Sales Operations experts, and contribute significantly to our future strategic direction as a key member of the B-F Italy management team.
Your responsibilities will include formulating long-term strategies and annual company execution plans, providing people insights to drive organization, culture, D&I, and capability plans, and partnering with Marketing and Finance Heads to ensure cohesive Customer and Channel Strategy.
Key Responsibilities: Championship of Business Development Meet/exceed Commercial objectives of all brands across all channels. Work closely with General Manager, Head of Marketing, and Head of Finance on development of business and portfolio strategies, yearly budgets, and quarterly projections. Strategic Guidance Provide leadership to the team via strategic analysis, program development, and resource management. Communicate company's vision and strategies and manage performance and development of Sales Department team. Organizational Culture and Talent Development (in partnership with HR) Act as a role model and lead a diverse and inclusive culture where different perspectives are encouraged and individuals feel connected and valued. Support team development by providing opportunities and coaching to the team with ongoing appreciative and constructive feedback. Business Analytics and Insights Improve quality of strategic operating planning via in-depth ongoing analysis of market trends and identification of company's strengths and weaknesses. Manage company's sales planning, controlling of discounts spending, and sales results reporting and budgeting requirements and processes. Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum 10 years of sales experience in leadership positions, ideally in off and on-trade channels, with profound knowledge of the Italian market and trade. You must have a proven track record of successfully delivering sales growth in a highly competitive environment and demonstrated ability to develop Sales organizations and build talent pipelines.
