col-wideJob Description:Impact of this roleThe 'Director, Project Services,plays an integral role inupholding brand standards and design implementation, ensuring that the brandintegrity is maintained throughout the construction and handover of the hotel.He/she is the key contact for site project matters, creating one centralizedpoint of communication for both owners and operations teams. Director ofProject Services is also responsible for determining the readiness of the hotelfor handover.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign CoordinationFamiliarizationof all approved design documentationFamiliarizationwith all discipline's drawings, specifications and schedules.Participatein all project site design meetings and maintain awareness of approved designrequirements vis a vis site condition.Evaluateall variances from approved design requirements and co-ordinatewithOwner/Developer and Design & ProjectServices for review.Provideongoing liaison with Owner/Developer and Key Consultants for co-ordination andguidance in the interpretation and clarification of operational requirements.Ensurethat deviations form brand standards and or approved pre-qualified vendors arereported and where appropriate, non-compliance approval is obtained.Furniture,Fixture & EquipmentTheDirector of Project Services is to ensure the compliance of Rosewood HotelGroup's Furniture Fixture and Equipment (FF&E) standards asdetailed/specified in the Design/Engineering and IT standards as well as theOperations Brand Standards documents.SiteActivitiesToconduct regular site visits and record observations in monthly report.Attendany meetings on site for general co-ordination and project updates.RepresentDesign & Project Services in any Value Engineering discussions.Providekey coordination of Mock-Up (commensurate with appointment) and Proto-type roompresentations.Inspection,Handover and Testing & CommissioningA tailored handover schedule will be prepared andsubmitted, indicating the sequence of area-by-area handover.The Director of Project Services will conduct a final inspection prior to handover to the hotel team.Ensurethe Owners Project Team provides a testing and commissioning schedule.Coordinatesubmission and handover of As-Built drawings, manuals, training documents andpreventative and annual maintenance contracts to hotel operations.FinancialFamiliarizationwith project cost budges and expenditure approval processes.Assistwith commercial analysis of submitted bids.Participatein revision to FF&E specifications.Review,changes to approved design intent, extent of works or modifications andcoordinate with Design & Project Services for timely review and response.Ensureall cost and supplier information is handed over to operations for re-ordering.HotelOperating Team CoordinationBriefingHotel Managing Director and Key Executives on project scope, design intent,operational concepts and objectives.Actas the key liaison between site Project team and Hotel Management team.Providethe owner with requirements for the operating team's re-opening office.Whilethis job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the dutiesinvolved in this position, the company reserves the right to add, remove oralter duties when business need dictates.Critical Skills & QualificationAuniversity or equivalent professional degree in the field of hospitality,business management, engineering, or architecture.S houldhave a minimum of six to seven years of operational management experience.Strongcommunication and influencing skills.Reactto adapt to change.Abilityto work with a required level of uncertainty.Multi-tasking,with the ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously.Stronginterpersonal skills, the ability to diffuse tension between stakeholders wherenecessary.#J-18808-Ljbffr
