If so, we invite you to apply for the position of Director Operational Readiness at our new Production Site, close to Rome, Italy.
The position As the Director Operational Readiness, you will manage operational readiness by ensuring all systems, processes, and personnel are prepared for production activities.
You will coordinate with key stakeholders to align production activities with business objectives and collaborate with other departments.
Your key accountabilities will include: Hiring, onboarding and training new staff.
Developing and implementing production schedules to meet output targets and adjust them as necessary.
Ensuring compliance with quality standards by monitoring production processes and implementing corrective actions.
Optimizing resource utilization by analyzing resource use and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Managing production operations to ensure smooth day-to-day activities and resolve any operational issues.
Qualifications We are looking for an experienced candidate who can meet the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
Proven track record in operational readiness and production management.
Strong leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
A solid understanding of the technical aspects of manufacturing.
The ability to efficiently manage resources to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
On a personal level, we expect you to have strong analytical skills to identify issues in the production process and develop effective solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and capacity to adapt to changing circumstances in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
About the department You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEX).
The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT), which globally employs approximately 28,500 of Novo Nordisk's 64,000 employees.
