The pure concept of Lifestyle combined with Italian hospitality.The Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for all sales strategy and will be responsible for instilling Hyatt ideals in his or her employees, dedicating themselves to ensuring service that lives up to company standards.Beyond that he/she will have to devote himself to building new relationships with new customers, supervising all sales activities, and training his employees.Key account management of existing customersLead and exceed stay/ADR targets in coordination with Revenue DepartmentPromote the Luxury lifestyle concept proper to Thompson's culturePromote and maintain a perfect and up-to-date knowledge of the group's business portfolio: history, business operations, services offered, amenities, to support the continuous promotion of the entire groupPlan, organize, support and participate in the strategic plan and assist in budget creationPlan, in coordination with centralized management, a communications and marketing strategy for the hotel, with a focus on the target markets identified for ThompsonCollaborate with centralized management for alignment and ongoing development of strategies and tactics to maintain and grow the business and support revenue maximizationDevelop online and offline communication materials and solutions by creatively contributing and developing textual/visual strategies and contentPlan and execute sales mission in key market areasRequirements for the positionMinimum 5 years of experience in the hospitality industryBachelor's degree in economics or similarSales leadership for a luxury lifestyle productGood knowledge of partners, events and tradeshows to drive demand from specific source marketsPrevious experience as a Director of Sales and Marketing or similar positionPre-opening experience is an advantageKnowledge of the local and luxury market is essentialStudy of competitorsBudget managementStrong leadership and team-building abilitiesExcellent communication and networking skills.This position is at a location where Hyatt is not the employer.
