In your role as Director of Sales, you'lldiscuss and agree some key objectives with your line manager. Theseobjectives are designed to support your department's goals andpriorities. You'll also take responsibility for your owndevelopment, embracing training opportunities that we offer, whilelearning from any challenges and mistakes along the way. How you doit: - You're taking the lead in seeking new business regarding ourhotel, creating, leading and materialize commercial strategies tomaximise revenues and upsell. - You'll contribute to creating astellar reputation for our hotel, promoting it, building loyaltyand interaction, all with the goal of increasing our revenue. -You'll identify commercial initiatives and opportunities which willdrive exposure, bookings and covers for the hotel and its outlets.Liaise with the hotel Team, to support commercials goals of thehotel. - You'll develop and implement sales strategy to effectivelymanage all the sales channels, utilize on-property resources andleverages all above the property sales engines to deliver andachieve results. - You'll develop visibility and enhancing thereputation of the hotel and brand by maintaining direct relationswith customers and local communities. - You'll promote thecompany's brand and introducing new products to the market. -Analysing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, schedulingexpenditures, and ensuring that the sales team meets their quotasand goals. - Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market dataand trends to draft reports. - Recruiting, training, scheduling,coaching, and managing sales teams to meet sales human resourceobjectives. - You'll play as customer expert, you'll ensure thatsales information provided to the other operational departments arepunctual, accurate and reach on time, in order to meet and exceedguests expectations. - You'll maintain relationships with importantclients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, andanticipating new sales opportunities. - You'll supervise,coordinate, and deliver the B2C, B2B and M&E campaigns andrelevant sales activities. - You'll manage the client journey, fromenquiry through to the big day. You'll take your cues from theguidance and instructions given by your leadership team. You'llalso be backed up by PPHE's standard operating procedures.
