The Role of Director of Revenue: We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Director of Revenue to join our Four Seasons Hotel Firenze in Italy.
The Director of Revenue Management is responsible for the interpretation of business analytics into tactical strategy. This role involves developing and implementing pricing strategies, managing inventory, and analyzing market trends to maximize revenue growth and profitability. The Director of Revenue Management works closely with the Director of Marketing to implement and consistently execute optimal revenue strategy, enabling key strategic and operational decisions for the hotel.
The Director of Revenue Management will oversee the Reservation department and exhibit a special talent for building, leading, coaching, training, and developing a strong team; ensuring our employees feel at home and receive the highest levels of support and care along with creating a great workplace for all great people to deliver great experiences.

Key responsabilities Responsible for leading Reservation and Revenue Management departmentStrategic thinker who plans initiatives in advance of booking window for each revenue generating area.Business owner of all Revenue Management systems and tools, including, but not limited to, RMS, PMS, BI tools, Benchmarking toolsEffectively manage inventory, pricing, rate parity, and positioning in all distribution channels, including Branded Web, 3rd Party Sites, Worldwide Reservation Office (WRO), and Global Distribution System (GDS).Interpret business analytics into meaningful action to improve performance.Lead optimal pricing strategy analysis and recommendations for all room classes and market segments.Track and analyze the monthly Commercial Scorecard with strong focus on improving all KPI areas. Assist with group evaluations, providing education on pricing and best practices for the Sales TeamMonitors and identifies current and future business trends to ensure profitability in periods of low and high demand. Controls rooms and rate availability in accordance with established guidelines to maximize occupancy and revenue.Ownership of OTA Market Manager relationshipCreate and submit hotel forecasts leveraging revenue management system. Monitor accuracy on regular basis.Lead weekly Revenue Strategy meetings separate from Forecast Meetings.
