The responsibility of the Director of Real Estate - Italy, is to source acquisition opportunities, negotiate terms of purchase, complete due diligence and close the purchase as approved by Krause+ Board of Advisors.
Principal Functions of the Job Management of project visioning & design, execution, pre-development, project cost, schedules and delivery on active and long-range G.O., Vietti, Enrico Serafino and Parma Calcio projects: Casa di Langa (warranty items, life-cycle capex projects, future expansion) Parma Calcio - New Stadium Parma Calcio - New Training Facility Long range planning: Vietti Master Plan Enrico Serafino Master Plan Future acquisitions Source new acquisitions in alignment with the growth strategy for Krause Group Italy and other Italy based businesses.
Negotiate purchase terms and manage due diligence efforts and close purchases.
Manage implementation and tracking of CSR initiatives and associated results on all Italian real estate assets.
Produce monthly project updates for all Italy based real estate projects Other duties as assigned.
Responds to the needs and requests of clients and Krause Group leaders, associates, residents, contractors and family members in a professional and expedient manner.
Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Education/Experience 7-10 years direct experience in Italian real estate transactions and development Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Real Estate Planning preferred
Skills and Competencies Required Demonstrated track record communicating with and influencing senior executives Ability to create project strategic vision and translate to project architects and specialty consultants Ability to prepare project documents (Scope/Schedule/Budget) and successfully manage through final delivery Experience working directly with Italian authorities on project review and approvals Fluent in English and Italian Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
