Armani Hotel Milan, 5 stars luxury hotel located in the heart of the famous Milan fashion district, is looking for a Director of Lifestyle..The Director of Lifestyle (DOLS) is responsible for the general administration and profitability of the operation of the Lifestyle and Housekeeping departments.The DOLS is responsible that all Rooms Division areas are interfaced and communication between Lifestyle and Housekeeping is flawless.The DOLS ensure the Lifestyle Manager and Housekeeping Manager are constantly coached and are executing the "Stay with Armani" experience for each guest.Reports directly to the General Manager of Armani Hotel Milan or to any other employee who will be indicated in the letter confirming the actual start date or who will be indicated by the General Manager during the course of the employment relationship.The DOLS is required to take ownership and accountability for the Lifestyle and Housekeeping operations of Armani Hotel Milan in partnership with the EXCOM and General Manager of the property.Ensure all routine matters are handled effectively without guidance and must be able to interact with employees within immediate business areas.Maintain and up-date as required a departmental filing system, which ensures that documentation is easily accessible.Adhere to the Company's Procedures and rules.Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure work is of the highest level.Establish high levels of participation in the project during its pre and post opening stages to set the required operational standards in Lifestyle, SPA, Housekeeping and Engineering in line with international standards.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:Lifestyle• Ultimately responsible for the guest's "Stay with Armani" Experience.• Responsible for the hotel floors and its rooms in regards to maintenance, condition and sales status.• Together with Engineering and Housekeeping team perform weekly meetings and inspections.• Acts as the main contact for the guests prior, during and after the visit.• Responsible to ensure that daily communication is properly done in regards to guests arrivals, pre-arrangements, guest preferences, follow ups and traces.• Is responsible to roaster him/herself and the entire Lifestyle Team which reflects the business demands and ensures that all guests (in house, departure, arrival) are taken care by the assigned team at all times.• Shows visibility also during day offs to show support to the Lifestyle Team.• Carries out weekly communication meeting with the Lifestyle Team.• Attends daily Line ups and is fully updated with day to day hotel operation, arrival, departures, guest in house, Sun shine guests, events, Guest comments.• Attends monthly meetings with the Lifestyle Team to present coaching reports, development plan, attendances report, vacation planner.• Carries out daily line ups which are energizing, informative and reflects the Armani Culture and Values.• Ensures that every Brand Ambassadors attends one Line Up every day.• Is present in the Hotel Lobby to welcome hotel guests and social guests to the Armani Hotel Milan.• Is responsible for coaching and developing the Lifestyle team.• Is responsible for developing and conducting Performance reviews of the Lifestyle team.• Conducts site inspections when required.• Provides excellent service to internal guests in other departments as deemed appropriate.• Works in a close, supportive and flexible manner with other departments, in a spirit of "We work through Teams".• Performance will be measured by Guest feedback and Mystery Guest Shoppers Audits.Housekeeping• Assists in planning organizing, directing and controlling all housekeeping activities, maintaining the established standards of cleanliness, orderliness and attractive condition of rooms, floors and pantries.• Checks the daily Room Occupancy Forecast, Room Report on room and guest occupancies.• Knows the Room situation for the day, especially if the hotel is full and check in and check out times so that can execute or delay certain tasks like Deep Cleaning scheduled for the day.• Ensures that enough manpower to complete the required tasks for the day• Executes a detail check to ensure that all are in order according our Hotel standards; vacated guest rooms are clean and available for check-in.• After completion of maintenance work, to follow up with engineering team and by calling and checking with guests.• Ensures that all guest room accessories, linen, towels, amenities and supplies are available and sufficient in stock.• Ensures good hygiene and high level of services to all guests from pre-check in to check-out.• Checks all equipment used in the Housekeeping department every day.
Ensure that they are in working condition.• Makes a report to the Engineering department for regular maintenance and/or when the equipment fails to work.• Ensures that your associates are well trained in handling all tools equipment used in the Housekeeping department.• Is well informed of all emergency exits and in the hotel premise and the guided Emergency Procedures, to be able to guide guests and yourself to safety.• Provides highest level of services and comfort to guests, ensuring optimum percentage of return guests.• Always keeps a friendly attitude and approach when come in contact with guests.OTHER DUTIES:• Familiar with local culture and governmental policies.• Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.• Maintains strong, professional relationships with internal and external guests and relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organizations, including local schools, hotel schools and universities.• Responds to changes in the function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.• Exercises responsible management and behaviour at all times, positively representing the hotel management team.QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE• Previous experience in similar and/or related fields in a 5* Hotel.• At least 3 years experience at same level.• Hotel Management (desirable)• Proficient in English Language and additional languages desirable #J-18808-Ljbffr
