The Director of Food and Beverage at Thompson Rome will be responsible for all F&B operations and instilling Hyatt ideals in his or her employees, dedicating themselves to ensuring service that lives up to company standards.
Responsibilities:Achieve operational objectives of F&B outlets by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.Manage and supervise the induction, training, skills, and performance of all resources in the F&B department.Coordinate with the general manager and other hotel managers to ensure the best possible service to guests.Manage and ensure the best performance in terms of mise en place, customer service, and customer satisfaction.Oversee and manage food costs together with the executive chef and ensure economic sustainability for the hotel.Promote the Luxury lifestyle concept proper to Thompson's culture.Collaborate with centralized management for alignment and ongoing development of strategies and tactics to maintain and grow Thompson's culture.Requirements for the position:Minimum 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.Excellent knowledge of customer service and customer care techniques.Excellent knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines.Experience in team management and supporting professional growth.Previous experience as a Director of Food and Beverage.Pre-Opening experience is an advantage.Knowledge of the local and luxury market.Strong leadership and team-building abilities.Excellent communication and networking skills.Applications must be sent to the following address:
