Requirements What you Bring: Relevant Qualification or experience in Accounting, FinancePrior experience as a Financial Controller or equivalentExperience in Hospitality/Luxury hotels essentialExcellent communication skills in Italian and EnglishEffective management, leadership, organization, communication and presentation skillsPrimary Responsibilities: Overseeing all sales, purchasing, salaries and expensesImplementing and reviewing financial policiesAudit compliance including actioning recommendations and liaising with internal stakeholdersProduction of monthly financial reporting GAAPOverseeing budgeting & forecasting process and long term planningMonthly and annual reportingResponsible for monitoring budgets and for reporting major deviations of over-expenditure, under-budgeting or non-compliance to the approved budgetBusiness partner with the General Manager implementing controls, solutions, and action plansAssist the General Manager in establishing local policies, rules, internal controls and safeguards that ensure profitability and control of operationsAdvise and provide counsel to the General Manager, HODs and finance teams on all financial mattersTreasury & Tax Treasury management, cash planning, reviewing the cash position to optimize the use of funds and minimize the volume of cash being held in the businessReview all changes of tax laws and accounting policies, assess their implications on the business and ensure the finance team implements appropriate changesOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
