Director Hardware Engineering (M/F/D)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESLead and strengthen the HW Engineering organisation while enhancing innovation attitude and total quality approachImplement the company strategy/culture into HW Engineering, set targets and actively support basic and advanced research initiativesDefine relevant human and technical resources requirements, manage hirings, training, coaching and mentoring activitiesImplement HW engineering budget & forecast process, strengthen HW development processes and toolsOversee the requirements analysis of HW subsystems and lead the definition of HW specifications accordinglyPromote standardization, modularity, power density in HW developmentTechnically manage and supervise critical characteristics of HW componentsPerform HW components unit testing, integration, verificationReview and supervise HW related design for manufacturing, assembling, servicingCheck the coverage of approved HW requirements into released specificationsStructure review and release workflows for parts and BOMsSponsor design2cost projects and VA/VE initiativesMonitor applicable standards & norms and relevant trends and evolutionsParticipate in technical roundtables & committeesYOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSMasters Degree in electric/electronic engineering, PhD or experience in static conversion devices is a plusStrong background in power electronics designDeep knowledge of PCBAs state of the art standardsSignificant experience in R&D processes and methodologies, as well working in complex and large organisationsProven management track record of structured technical teamsDeep competence in engineering material and standardsStrong skills in 2D/3D mechanical drawing practices and standards, as well as in multiphysics FEM simulations/calculationsAssertiveness, effective communication skillsLeadership and coaching abilities, empathy, problem-solving and self-motivating attitudeFluency in English, knowledge of German and/or Italian an advantageOUR COMMITMENTInnovative work environment in a young, dynamic teamHigh-tech projects in the future-proof sector of e-mobilityOpportunities for advancement in a growing companyA wide range of further training opportunitiesAttractive bonus system and performance-related payAdditional company benefits#J-18808-Ljbffr
