To expand our team for alternative investment funds, we are looking for a Director – Alternative Investment Funds with knowledge of alternative investments to join our office in Frankfurt.Responsibilities:Represents the Head of Alternative Investments in case of absenceActs as communication point-of-contact between Scope Fund Analysis and customersEnhances Scope's analytical capabilities and methodologiesAnalyses qualitative and quantitative fund aspects such as structural risks, operational risks, legal and regulatory aspectsMonitors existing ratings and if necessary recommends reviews and changes on a timely basisCreates and monitors peer groupsConducts discussions with clients, investors and asset managers, as well as giving presentations, explanations and briefings at a highly professional levelIs able and ready to travel and to show flexibility in accepting tasks and duties and carrying them out as directedWorks closely with other Alternative Investments team members, staff and management in Scope Fund Analysis and coordinates the workload of junior analystsProduces high-quality, insightful and forward-looking research and analytical comments on a timely basisInforms colleagues in new topics and passes on knowledge within the teamProvides guidance to other team members to produce regular performance reports and analysesMinimum Requirements:At least 5 years of experience in the financial industry, that reflects analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of Alternative Investments focusing on the private equity and debt sectorExtensive knowledge of private markets, such as private equity and private debt, infrastructure and real estateWillingness to take responsibility with an entrepreneurial attitudeIndependent thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsMulti-cultural, collaborative, self-starter, versatile, inquisitive and detail-oriented personalityExperience in research writing with strong written and oral communication skillsTeam player with excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to meet deadlines and motivate others to do the sameWe look forward to learning more about you from your convincing application.
