The Candidate, reporting directly to the Global Head of Procurement, will be part of the Corporate Procurement Team and will be responsible for optimizing the company's direct purchases spend, supporting the Regional Procurement Managers during the development and implementation phases of the purchase strategy and ensuring that common methodologies are applied across the Group.
In particular, s(he) will:
Conduct global road-mapping and risk factor analysis to provide best practices and guidelines to the regions for their implementation. Support the Procurement organization in identifying harmonized KPIs (costs, lead-time, quality). Ensure compliance with the company's purchasing processes and policies. Support the annual savings budget and cost-saving target definition by identifying risks and opportunities, promoting, and leading cost reduction initiatives, and proposing alternative products/solutions to internal stakeholders and supplier management team. Contribute to overall cost reduction and be responsible for global tenders (G-RFQ). Negotiate contracts with global suppliers and provide support to the regional team for local suppliers. Negotiations include quality standards, prices, discount rates, duration, delivery timescales, and commercial terms and conditions. Direct Materials Purchasing Focus:
Raw Materials (metal and no metal) Semi-finished goods, mainly carpentry Global Logistic tenders Your Profile Degree in Business, Economics or Engineering. Minimum 5 years experience in Purchasing in an international manufacturing company. Fluency in English is mandatory. The knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and/or Chinese is a plus. Experience in international negotiation, contract, and claim management. Excellent leadership and communication skills: be able to communicate effectively at all levels, and with all functions at least in English. Ability to work independently and take initiative as well as in cross-functional and international teams. Strong problem-solving/analytical attitude. Strong sense of self-motivation and determination.
