ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT: WFP leverages data and technology to better serve those in need by digitally transforming its operations. This ambition has led to the development of a new WFP IT Strategy that informs the end-to-end business processes of the organization.
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT: The Information Technology Digital Solution Delivery Branch (TECD) oversees all solution development activities within WFP. The TECD ERP Products team is looking for a highly experienced Digital Solutions Analyst to manage projects related to Public Sector and Grants Management, particularly the integration of Salesforce with SAP Grants Management.
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and monitor the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of SAP Public Sector, Grants Management, Project System, and Funds Management modules. Oversee the integration of corporate IT systems such as Salesforce and SAP. Build and maintain relationships with business process owners and experts. Facilitate effective communication of business objectives and user needs. Lead business analysis and document requirements for IT solutions. Propose and prioritize process improvements using digital technology. Manage improvements and continuous support for WFP's IT systems. Formulate project cost and schedule estimates and identify project risks. Provide strategic change management advice for global rollout initiatives. Conduct market research and develop a comprehensive product vision and strategy. Demonstrate project management expertise in formulating robust project plans. Perform other related duties as required. DELIVERABLES: A documented set of requirements aligned with WFP's business initiatives. High levels of stakeholder satisfaction through effective communication and leadership. Regular updates to project teams and business partners. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Education: University Degree in Economics, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 5-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a proven record in IT application development and implementation. Technical Skills & Knowledge: Deep knowledge of SAP Grants Management, PS, FM, and PSM modules. Understanding of SAP Solution Manager and Change Request Management processes is desirable. Requirements, design, development, and implementation of IT solutions. Creation and review of business, functional, and non-functional requirements. Product management expertise, Agile Scrum methodologies, and experience in managing multi-vendor projects. Strong partnership skills and leadership abilities. Language: Fluency in English and intermediate knowledge of another official UN language is desirable.
