YOUR ROLE
The position is aimed at a digital design engineer with previous experience in digital design of ASIC. The preferred seniority is 3 to 5 years of experience.
The candidate will be placed in the digital design team of the MEMS group and will have the possibility to follow all the ASIC development process from specification definition up to final product industrialization.
He/She participates in product architecture definition and must be able to work autonomously to implement specific hardware blocks and the testability structures. The level of autonomy and responsibility will be evaluated during the selection process.
He/She participates in project definition (documentation) and carries out a critical analysis, ensuring regular, pro-active reporting on his/her work progress.
He/She will interact directly with other design engineers and the verification/implementation teams during the development phase and may be directly involved in silicon debug.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
Master's degree in electronic engineering or similar
3-5 years of experience in a similar role
Solid experience in digital circuit design
Solid knowledge of HDL (VHDL or Verilog/SystemVerilog)
Experience with digital simulation tools
Basic knowledge of DFT techniques
Basic knowledge of communication interfaces
Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing and/or numerical computation, motion algorithms, basics of CPU architectures, Machine Learning will be appreciated
Basic knowledge of MATLAB or similar tools, Python, C language, Assembly language are considered a plus
