Global HR Global Finance, Procurement & IT Group Legal & Corporate Affairs Global Communication & External Relations Transformation Global Strategy, SV&S and Business Development Who we are looking for Purpose Within the Global Strategy, Shared Values & Sustainability and Business Development department, the Digital Health function has been created over the past years with the objective of defining and implementing the global strategy on digital, non-pharmacological innovative solutions to complement our portfolio of medications and improve patients' quality of life. The Digital Function acts as incubator and business partner to build the vision, identify unmet needs and deliver digital programs that challenge the status-quo and advance health care delivery.
You will embark on an exciting journey with us as a founding member of the Global Digital Health function and will play a key role in its growth into an operational function that can serve as a steward of the company's digital health strategy.
Main Responsibilities Identification of key opportunities for unmet needs in digital health via interaction with internal subject matter experts both at the Global and Country level, with an emphasis on identifying transversal opportunities across multiple diseases/business units. Leadership of individual global digital health projects, including developing strategic rationale & business cases, identification of potential partners, involvement in deal execution and post-deal project/program management. Cultivate strong network of external relationships in health tech- among startups, investors and thought leaders. Assist in the development and operation of a new process to govern digital health programs, in alignment with other processes at the company. Experience Required At least 5 years in strategic analyses and execution of white space work is critical. Background in strategy consulting, business development (buy side or sell side), health tech product/program management or venture capital will be considered a plus. Knowledge of pharma and experience working within pharma companies (or in a pharma client facing company) highly desirable. Prior experience in digital health initiatives is highly desirable. Skills Ability to influence without authority. Fast learner and self starter. Network/relationship-driven individual. Strategic thinker and vision oriented. Education Advanced degree in healthcare and/or business (MBA, PhD, MD, PharmD) or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Languages Location and Travel Location: flexible solutions can be envisaged.
Ability to travel internationally required (currently foreseen up to 10%).
