Position Overview:We are seeking an ambitious Digital Engineer to provide support to our AES Business Unit located at Analog Devices, Milan (Italy). The candidate will be self-motivated and will join a team of experienced Digital & Analog designers and work effectively within a group of Layout Designers, Test Engineers, and Application Engineers. The candidate will be involved from the definition, through the development till test and customer support of Automotive Power products.
As a Digital Design Engineer, you will perform a full range of product development activities including, but not limited to:Develop new digital design using (System-)Verilog RTL, standard cells, or other approaches as necessary to implement digital control logic for Displays, LED Drivers and LV/HV power ICs for Automotive marketPerform linting, synthesis, logic equivalence checks, static timing analysis, DFT, ATPG tasks and ECO flowAssist with physical implementation, clock tree synthesis constraints, floorplan optimizationPerform block and chip level verification and regressionUse version control recommended tools for source code and documentationUse up-to-date design and verification techniques to ensure first silicon successRequirements:MSEE - 1 or 2 years of industry experience with a background in digital design and mixed signal IC design will be a plusGood written and verbal communication (English)Motivated to learn the full digital design process (eventually covering all areas of experience listed below).Preferred QualificationsWorking experience with custom digital interfaces like I2C, SPI, UART, etc.Verilog, SystemVerilog fluency in design, simulation, and verification domains.RTL design for synchronous applications, including multiple clock domains (Asynchronous Design experience is considered as a plus).Familiar with UVM and functional verification in generalMixed-signal simulation (Cadence AMS), interfacing with analog functions (Verilog-AMS or WREAL modelling experience is considered as a plus).Why you will like working at ADI:We place great value on individual judgment.We allow our employees the freedom to explore new ideas and the autonomy to determine how to best achieve business goals and objectives.We emphasize professional development and mentoring.Above all, we recognize that the personal goals of our employees and the company's goals are closely related and must support each other.For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
