As part of our IT service this position will report to the CIO and will be a driving force for the digital transformation of the company thanks to new technologies, agile approach, and continuous improvement.
He/She will be responsible for leading the release of our Digital Consumer platform and to execute on our strategy of making Arena a pure Digital Data driven company.
**Main activities and accountabilities**:
- Gather business needs and translate them into solution requirements, maximizing internal customer satisfaction by understanding and anticipating their needs and providing them with easy and efficient solutions in terms of business case (ROI)
- Identify best practices in corporate process and new ways of solving issues/running the business.
- Design and implement digital solutions and plan implementation activities, prioritizing tasks and meeting urgent needs, if any
- Be perceived as a business partner, building and maintaining strong and effective collaboration with all Service Heads
- Act as change agent by being an internal ambassador of new solutions and ways of working (including data management, people, process, solutions)
- Ensure the identification of the best IT solutions taking into account existing corporate systems and other constraints such as: consistency with other ongoing projects, available budgets, implementation timing and maintenance sustainability
- Promote, through specific projects aligned to company strategy, agile process improvement in order to increase total business integration, efficiency and productivity
- Drive the implementation of IT projects (e.g.
build a detailed project plan, lead project as per schedule by identifying & managing conflicts, resources, cost, risks, threats, time & budget)
- Provide regular project status updates/progress reports/issues sheets/resolution plans to the steering committee and the stakeholders, by collecting project information and distributing it timely.
**Requirements**:
- Computer Science Degree or related disciplines
- 5/8 years of experience preferably with engineering teams and developing digital solutions
- Fluent English both spoken and written
- Knowledge of advanced front-end systems
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or aptitude to manage parts systems and software
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
