Arup is currently seeking a for both graduates and undergraduates for the Digital Service Team of Italy Group.
The persons will be integrated into a dynamic team and will participate in all the cutting-edge projects carried out in the department.
**The Role**
The Digital Team delivers Digital Services to our clients and Automation Services to the other teams in the Arup Group.
Digital runs through everything we do from software development, computational design, data analysis to digital strategy work - determined to enhance the world around us.
Our work combines digital innovation, creativity, emerging technology, with the multidisciplinary breadth of Arup.
Your project roles will be structured to enable you to effectively contribute as part of the team, develop your technical acumen, enhance your communications skills and to maximise your learning opportunities through specific projects tasks and day-to-day engagement with our experienced team.
- Join a development team of computational designers, data scientists and web developers
- Develop and distribute web frontend interfaces, backend APIs/services and/or visualizations as part of development team
- Manage and design databases to solve the challenges associated with complex engineering-related datasets
- Automate design and/or engineering workflows
- Identify and propose software solutions or architectures able to optimally solve the needs of our customers
- Coordinate your work with other members of Digital teams in Europe
**Requirements**:
- Graduate or Undergraduate in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent.
- Knowledge of English
- Knowledge and understanding of at least one of the following: JavaScript, Python, C#, C++ and/or HTML/CSS, Django, React
- Strong problem-solving ability
- A collaborative style of working that fosters innovation, learning and team working.
- Additional knowledge of any of the following will be a plus:
- Rhino, Revit, Grasshopper, Rhino Inside, Dynamo, Revit API
- Unity 3D
- Database management
- AWS, cloud computing, Docker, CI/CD, Automated data workflows
- Node.js and/or Express
- It will be valuable to have academic or work experience in the area described in the offer
