Descrizione impiego Prysmian Group is looking for a Diagnostic Offshore and Platform Engineer for Installation Engineering department of the Transmisson Division, based in Milano.
The Diagnostic Offshore and Platform Engineer reports to the Manager of the Diagnostic & Offshore Platforms function and will be responsible of technical tasks such as : writing procedures, providing support to internal and external clients, being the technical expert for all what concerns the offshore platforms, the Testing and fault location of High Voltage cables and Fibre Optic ones.
The Diagnostic Offshore and Platform Engineer will : design electrical and optical tests to identify faults and diagnose the functionalities of HV submarine cables.design and execute on site fault location optical fibers and power cables.design of cable installation on offshore platforms and on offshore wind turbines.support during the execution phase of the offshore platforms and wind towers cable installation activities.give inputs during tender phase to the proposal engineers relative to her / his area of expertise and lessons learned from previous projects.Who are we looking for?
Key requirements A master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or similar Degrees.Preferably previous work experience on electrical testing or general platform activities of 2-4 years within offshore environmentEnglish level : fluentAvailability to travel at short notice for short period of timeExcellent relationship and team working abilitiesProblem solving, target oriented, capable to define and set priorities.Very good communication skillsFlexibility and adaptability to continuous changeEager to learnPrevious experience of client relationship will be a plusKnowledge and familiarity with basic and common software (Office suite, Autocad 2D as a plus)Your application data will be treated according to our Data Protection Policy.
