Partner with the best In this role, you will monitor and analyze data for connected equipment, provide insights to our customers, prepare reports, and suggest analytics improvements for Baker Hughes TPS iCenter.
As a Diagnostic Engineer, you will be responsible for: Monitoring and analyzing data from a diverse MD (Monitoring Diagnostic) fleet, including gas turbines, compressors, and electrical equipment on a daily basis.Troubleshooting and effectively communicating technical issues, preparing and reviewing documentation including root cause analysis, anomaly notifications, and reports.Preparing and reviewing periodic reports, validating performance calculations, ensuring data quality for selected customers, and identifying nonconformities.Meeting goals for MD notifications and reports while being available for critical issue resolution on claimed cases and assigned customers.Carrying out rotodynamic analysis, interpreting site-specific control software and engineering documents, and supporting diagnostic system development and deployment.Proposing technology improvements and new analytics, providing remote site support, and assisting with data analysis for engineering and business functions.
Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Master's in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.Have technical expertise in Machinery Diagnostics, Field Services, or Product Design.Have experience with rotating equipment and turbomachinery products.Have excellent decision-making and troubleshooting abilities.Be proficient in interpreting engineering documents and have knowledge of performance and vibration analysis.Be enthusiastic about working in a dynamic, global, and demanding environment.Have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
