City: GenovaLocation: Genova, IT, 16129 Roma, IT, 144Contract Type: Fixed-TermDivision: RINA Consulting Commercial ManagementLevel of experience: Entry LevelRINA is currently recruiting for a DFI Eurasia Business Developer to join its office in Genoa or Rome (Italy) within the RINA Consulting Commercial Management Division.MissionThis role offers involvement in many high-profile opportunities worldwide in key sectors such as environment, sustainability, decarbonization, green energy, and green finance.
You will be integrated into a team, fully dedicated to the management of the largest international Development Financial Institutions customers (DFIs).We are offering a fixed-term contract (maternity leave cover).Key AccountabilitiesAnalyzing DFIs investment programs in specific countries and sectors to understand their priorities.Monitor, identify, and evaluate the opportunities launched by DFIs.Contribute/coordinate the preparation of Expressions of Interest and proposals to reply to open and restricted tenders launched by DFIs/Lenders/Investors.Identify and interact with suitable partners and subcontractors to shape the best team for the assignment.Prepare RINA project references and credentials for a specific opportunity.Be informed of DFIs' procedures for tendering and awarding contracts.Analyze DFIs' organization: chart, key functions/personnel, and locations worldwide.Support RINA promotional and commercial activities with DFIs.Support RINA promotional and commercial activities with potential partners with complementary competencies.Some degree of project management, proactively communicating with clients, partners, the internal team, and stakeholders to deliver client requirements.Conduct site visits/join Senior Consultants on field trips and support the production of reports.Support the team in preparing internal reporting of activities performed and achievements.Facilitate internal networking by interacting with the responsible staff of the operational units and geographies of RINA.EducationBachelor's DegreeMaster's Degree in Political ScienceQualificationsA degree in International Relations or equivalent qualification is essential.Working experience in consultancy and on funded proposals/projects is a plus but not mandatory.Basic knowledge of the global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) market is a plus.Creativity, curiosity, and an open-minded approach.Interest in working with Banks and International Financial Institutions.Excellent level of written and spoken English is essential.Key CompetenciesMAKE EFFECTIVE DECISIONS - Structure activities according to priorities, actions, resources, and constraints.ADDRESS THE WAY - Have a big picture of different situations and reinterpret it in a perspective way.MANAGE EMOTIONS - Recognize one's and others' emotions and express and regulate one's reactions.CLIENT INTIMACY - Embrace internal and external client needs, expectations, and requirements to ensure maximum satisfaction.EARN TRUST - Take everyone's opinion into account and remain open to diversity.PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT - Promote commitment by keeping promises as a Role Model.THINK FORWARD - Capitalize on experiences and translate them into action plans for the future.PIONEER CHANGE - Actively embrace change and benefit from the new circumstances.BUILD NETWORK - Forge trust relationships across departments and outside the organization.With over 5,600 employees and 200 offices in 70 countries worldwide, RINA is a multinational player that provides certification, marine classification, product testing, site supervision and vendor inspection, training, and engineering consultancy services across a wide range of sectors.
