We are seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn Intern Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Datrix. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development, DevSecOps practices, and IT management.
You will work closely with our engineers and data scientists to support key initiatives and contribute to the company's technological growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and maintenance of DevSecOps pipelines across both Cloud and on-premises infrastructure;
Support the management and maintenance of on-premises and Cloud servers including a Kubernetes cluster;
Participate in the maintenance, updating, and installation of software on company PCs;
Collaborate with teams on various software development projects;
Help monitor and address vulnerabilities in company PCs and servers;
Contribute to automation of workflows and processes within the company.
Our recruitment process includes the following steps:
Initial interview with HR and technical teams via Skype, Google Meet, or Teams.
A simple technical assignment to be completed within 10 days.
Final interview either virtual or in person depending on availability.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
Basic programming experience with one or more languages (Python, R, Go, Bash, C/C++, Java, etc.);
Familiarity with Linux, Git, SQL, and APIs;
Good communication skills in both Italian and English;
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
Bonus Skills:
Some exposure to Cloud architecture (e.g., GCP, AWS);
Understanding of DevSecOps practices and tools like Jenkins and Docker.
Benefits:
For the internship position, there is a reimbursement of 700 for the first 6 months to be reevaluated in the event of renewal up to 12 months.
We will provide you a company PC for better performance of the required activities, and an agile working mode is allowed (i.e., the company applies a "100% smart working policy": you will be the one to choose when to work at our offices in Milan compatibly with training needs and when to work from home).
