Your missionYou will be part of a cross-functional team of backend developers, frontend developers, data scientists and data engineers, working on Vedrai's software products.
We are looking for someone who can balance autonomy and team collaboration and has curiosity and passion for the art of managing highly available, secure and scalable Cloud and HPC bare metal infrastructure.
Your responsibilitiesManage and evolve Vedrai's SaaS platform and underlying Cloud (AWS) infrastructureDesign, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelinesIncrease the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our software development life-cycleBuild and provide tools to provide a smoother and more delightful developer experienceImprove infrastructure, platform, and application monitoring tools and techniquesPerform capacity management, load testing, and regular security assessmentsAssist the software engineers in troubleshooting and resolving problemsDevelop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like CloudFormation and othersEnsure high availability and scalability of AWS environmentsConfigure and manage network components (VPCs, subnets, security groups, etc.)Monitor system performance and reliability, while troubleshooting issues proactivelyImplement and maintain security best practices and compliance in AWS environmentsConduct security assessments and audits; manage incident responsesEnsure we never compromise on security in everything we doCollaborate in cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integrationParticipate actively in design-led product discovery activitiesAutomate and continuously measure all the things!Allocate approximately 25% of your time to support Corporate ITYour super skillsCuriosity and open-mindedness toward the ideas of othersDesire to learn new things and share them with other peopleDesire to grow professionally, improve and challenge yourselfExcellent ability to work and communicate within your teamYour experienceExcellent knowledge of a GNU/Linux operating system (e.g. Debian or RHEL)Advanced knowledge of Git and DVCS software platforms (e.g. Gitlab or Github)Excellent knowledge of pipeline construction frameworks (e.g. Gitlab CI)Proficiency in automation tools (e.g. CloudFormation)Deep knowledge of networking concepts and AWS networkingPractical experience with one or scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, etc.)Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration toolsSolid understanding of security principles and practices in Public Cloud environmentsHands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch)Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesNice to haveBachelor's degree in a field related to Computer Science and Information TechnologyExperience with Big Data and Artificial Intelligence technologiesPrevious experience in developing software professionallyExperience with Datadog or SentryExperience with Ansible or TerraformKnowledge of data intelligence platforms (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, etc.)Why Vedrai?Flexibility.
