No Offer Description The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced techniques for fusing data from radio, altimetric, and optical sensors to support the Europa Clipper and EnVision space missions. The activities will include: Analysis of radio data for the inversion of Europa's and Venus's geophysical properties. Development of algorithms to synergically integrate altimetric and optical measurements. Study of surface and internal characteristics of these celestial bodies by leveraging the complementarity of multi-sensor observations. Validation of results through simulations and comparisons with reference datasets. These efforts will contribute to a better understanding of the internal structure and geophysical properties of Europa and Venus in alignment with the scientific goals of the missions. Requirements PhD in Aeronautical and Space Engineering; Master's/specialist degree in Space and Astronautical Engineering, or equivalent degree belonging to the LM-20 class. It is mandatory to have a PhD title, along with publications and other research products, specialisation diplomas, and attendance certificates for post-graduate courses.
